About

Hello, I’m Philip Gegan. That’s my mug shot opposite – my wife took it unexpectedly as I was just sitting down in an easy chair after a session at the computer keyboard. I didn’t know what she was doing and wasn’t expecting to have my photograph taken, so that explains the look on my face. It’s about the best shot there is of me, which says something about the others.

I’m a former UK lawyer-advocate and passionate about the subject of alternative health, and helping people with simple, natural remedies for common ailments. I also write for the internet and run a few blogs. PressAwayPain is about my favourite because I love helping people sort out their problems, and this information was so useful to me when I needed it.

I wrote Press Away Pain after myself suffering from various forms of pain (minor arthritis, frozen shoulder and sinus trouble) and stress, and discovering Acupressure as a means of relieving it. I want to share my knowledge with others who suffer from pain in any of its forms, so they too can gain relief in the same way that I did.

As for me as a person, I’m married with two grown-up children. Main interests: writing, internet marketing, historical review, and alternative health.

I live in the middle of old England, and my postal address is 30 Canal Street, Thurmaston, Leicester LE4 8AA. The telephone number here is +44 116 220 7250, but please bear in mind that I’m on London time, and usually available to answer the telephone from 9.00am to 12.30pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm on weekdays only. If I’m not there you can leave a message on the voicemail.

Finally, if you are in need of content for your blog or web site, or custom articles, or wish to contact me about this blog, then just email me at admin”@” pressawaypain.com and let me know what your requirements are.
